List of 80's performance quads top speeds

Here are the results of the top speed shootout over a 1/4 mile drag strip in the June '88 edition of 3&4 Wheel Action.

Quad 500 79.26 mph
Banshee 77.05
Tecate-4 74.75
250R 71.89
Quad 250 71.48
Mojave 57.84

hmm interesting bit of trivia... and whats worse.. is the mojave and banshee havent changed since that race [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

They must have gone wild with the R&D on the Zilla after 1988 because according to most they were "MONSTERS"...In that same shootout the Banshee took the 0-60 time in front of the Zilla, i always like to think about the fast Zillas as "Nessy" you hear about them,some say they saw them but...
