Default Simple Green - How could I have not known......

you can dilute the simple green way down....i use about 1 inch in the bottom of a spray bottle and the rest water..works just as well. then just chamois or towel dry.
watch out for castrol super clean, i know lots of folks use it, i used to, but it has a serious tendency to etch aluminum, and it says so on the jug, you need a magnifying glass to see it. Edelbrock says 'no super clean' very clearly. so does GM performance.
just dont use anything too storng...start out lean..with my lean green solution, it doesnt even take the wax job off, but the dirt slides off and no etching either. No armorall on anything - it attracts dust. we already have enuf dust here thank you.
You dont need high pressure to get em clean.. in fact, every owners manual i ever read says to NOT use high pressure as you can push water past seals and into where it doesnt belong. makes sense to me.

OIL THE CHAIN. always oil the chain. if you can hear it, it needs to be oiled. sprockets and chains are spendy and the weak point of any vehicle using one.

have fun!

How does simple green work on chains? Can you just spray it on the chain, let it sit, then spray it off. Or should you take the chain off and let it soak?
