Ok ,,heres the deal Last year when I bought my quad the dealer threw in a case of Yamalube 5w30 cold weather formula. The quad is a cannondale and I only use full synthetic .But it doesnt say if its conventional oil or not but it says it has synthetic anti shear additives. Is it true this stuff is around $7 a bottle. If its not full synthetic I will just sell it . Any insight on this product or if you want it let me know. Thanks

Yamalube is just like the Honda oil, or Suzuki oil. It is really good for quads or anyother fourstroke four wheeler.

 

yeah, i'm pretty sure it's semi synthetic..thats the oil I use...I've found it anywhere from $4 to $7a quart.... I use it 32:1 in my R

I looked on yamahas web site and its made for the 4 stroke snowmobiles but its kind of strange that they dont actually claim that it is a synthetic but has synthetic friction modifiers and additives. I was looking on the case and it had 7 times 12 =84 on it in writing so I am guessing thats what they were charging for it. I think I am going to just sell it cheap and stick with mobil 1 . Since nobody wanted free yamalube I poured it in my cars when i changed oil.
