Default Dumping the Throttle

When my warrior is at and idle and I dump the throttle it about kills it. It bogs down, sometimes it does kill it. What and how could I fix this? Also the rubber piece that is attached between the carb and the engine is taped up and it back fire through there sometimes. Thanks

You just answered your own question. Tape??? Do you have a crack or a tear in the boot? If so using tape to fix it........not good. Buy a new carb to cylinder boot, then try it out. Right now your probably sucking raw air in through that crack.

yeah fix that boot and try it again.. but dumping the throttle at idle will kill it anyway, usually. Did on my old warrior anyhow
