Do any of you guys not shop with your Yamaha dealers from your own area??
Your local dealer can have it the next morning if you order before 11:00AM for the Atlanta region and 1:00PM for the California region and you don't even have to deal with shipping costs.

Sounds like some lazy Parts managers.......or a dealership trying to save a few bucks on his bottomline dollar...... I would ask to speak to the store manager and ask what's up with the delayed parts orders.
A delaership pays about $20 to $50 freight on his entire parts order eah day. Some dealers try to get around this by placing orders once a week and receive the free freight by ordering on Saturdays. They do not tell you this, but that's the deal. I was unaware that any dealers were still using these practices. I haven't heard of it being done since the market explosion started in 1996.

KNOWSALOT is right!! I have never had to wait not even 4 days for my stuff, if I go there and order ANYTHING, its usually there the next day or two. They are pretty fast for being a dealer in my area. Now if I go order some Suzuki parts, I will just wait and kick back until they call me cuz that never shows up no sooner than 2 weeks.
