best 686 combo?
Yamaha 660R
you have a better set up than mine. I have the edelbrock carb I know I should of used fcr's but the edelbrock is way better than stock so F**K it right. I will be breaking in my bike next week no money to pull it out this week. I haven't sold my ron woods pipe or the other s**t I have.

best 686 combo?
I have done some searching on this topic and i was wanting to do a up graded like this one day. I have a pipe and k&n filter with the gyt-r jet kit. I'm running 160 Left carburetor main jet and 165 on the right. And jet pilot #25 with the clip in the gyt-r jet needle in the 3rd groove from top. I did everything the instructions said to do and it runs great. The question that i have is what is the best i can get out of just running premium gas i dont want to run racing gas ,but i want the best performance i can and the stuff that i only really need. My other question is do i have to change any of my jeting on my bike and if so what do i need. Thanks for the help

If you want to stay on 93 octane, then you can contact Bob Craycraft about a 11:1 Ross that runs on pump gas. That is what my current set up will be, until late summer or fall when I swap out to a little higher compression.
You know...something along the lines of 1BadRaptor's set up.
