Whats the stock horsepower on the banshee?

What would be a good time in the 1/4 for a stock banshee?

 

I think its either 36 or 38, but it feels like more the way the power comes on up top. That's about all I can help you with.

 

That's a long distance to race, I usually race 1/8 mile which is more than plenty to get through all 6 gears, but then again I'm far from stock.

 

I'd say no more than 35. Stock Rappys (which have no more than 35 HP) beat stock Banshees so they can't have anymore power than that. They are also lighter which might mean they have even less HP.

Sotck banshee's have 2 more HP then a rappy. I have never seen a stock rap beat a stock banshee. Even when the rap came out the beloved dirt wheels raced them and the banshee won 10 out of 10 times.

 

Hmm...I've never seen a stock shee beat a stock rappy. I'll take your guys word for it though cause shees are bada$$ [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I agree 100% I had a 96 Banshee I bought new and rode till 2002 thats when I sold it and bought a new 2002 raptor. I read all those articles in dirt wheels, you no the one's that said "the raptor has chest flatting acceration" and " the best handling quad next to the 250r" Well when I got my new rapterd home I rode it down the street and I thought there was something wrong with it. At that point I new I should have kept my Banshee. Last April I traded the raptor in on a Kawasaki KFX700 V-force, they gave me a pretty good price for the raptor and I don't miss it a bit. Last month I did buy a new Banshee, just had to have another one!!!!!!!!!
