Modification Suggestions for my 1997 Wolverine
I just got High compression Wiseco Piston and the WB cam in mine. Its the same cam as the warrior, cause its the same engine. My guy who did it says hes done multiple warriors and reliability is good. You have to do stiffer valve springs with it. After the piston, cam, and valve springs My bottom end dropped off just a bit but it winds out to the moon compared to what it used to do. the gears are much longer then they were and I was due for rings and a honeing on the cyl so it runs like a dream. Im definatly totally happy with it. im also running the megamax with 11 disks if I dropped it down to 9 or 10 disks id recover the tiny bit of bottom i lost but I dont tow or do much mudboging anymore and in the trails rippin in 2x4 mode I have more than enough power. in the field in my back yard I cant get it into 5th where as before I could top out 5th cause each gear revs higher. Highly reccomended! I used to always have to go right to the top of the gear before I shifted now I find I dont need to go right to the peak there is a lot more room in the gears.

Well I had my guy do it I didnt have enough time to tackle it myself. My starter wasnt working either so I had new rings/piston, honed cylinder, new valve springs, new seals and oil, New starter and solinoid, tune up and carb ajustment. cost me $650 for it all parts and labor, The person who does my stuff is such a good deal usually.
