Default Thumb Throttle

I broke my thumb throttle in my wreck yesterday (see Warrior Wreck Pics on the next page)
I was wandering, instead of buying a new thumb throttle, could I weld a piece of angle iron or something onto it? Or is it a different metal that wouldn't work? Thanks guys..

Later,
Warrior68Man

the metal from the thumb throttle is pretty cheap pot iron. it is pretty hard to weld. I would take it to a weld shop and have it done. but yeah it would be a good idea.

Dude, don't be cheap and fix it right. A thumb throttle off ebay can't be but a few bucks. I hate it when my buds halfa** fix their quads, just for their cheap fix to fail and leave them either stuck out on the trail or unable to go at all. Plus the throttle system is a important part of your quad and for nothing more than safety reasons do it right.

Yeah I would go used. Also, a Raptor one will work too. My buddy took his warrior one off and put it on his Raptor.
