Default jetting the rappy for the first tim tomorrow

I put on a pro design filter and my plug is white now. Plus I think i got a little water in my carbs so I have to go in there anyways. Anything really important I should know before I start? Is it possible to do without taking my front plastic off? Also what jet size do you think I should go to. Im just jetting for a filter right now. I need to have it ready by saturday. Im going to search around on here but i thought id ask anyways. Thanks in advance.

yeah u have to take fornt plastics off but not back and take the gas tank off then just take off the boots on the carb and then flip it dont undo everything. id guess depending on elevation. and doesnt look like you have a pipe id run a 148 mukini and a 150 but thats dependent on elevation pm sixsixt and he can tell you hes good with carbs i hear lol

Probly 145/150, or 150/155, then richen your idle mixture a tad. I'm pretty sure mikuni's come in increments of 5, not 2.

This is just for a filter, no pipe yet.

just bump it up one size on each carb if your just doing intake, MAYBE might have to do 2 sizes....only way is to check your plug. go 1/2 turn more on your mixture screws and if you have backfiring while decelerating give it another 1/4 turn

There is an online manual on the yamaha site for free, should help a lot. If you used a foam filter and kept the airbox lid, I doubt you have to re-jet, but if you did k&n and took the lid off, you should re-jet.
