Default Times from my first 300' Sand Drag - update

RR1, I think its official. We need to hang out more. I can't get anyone to go riding with me. And my stupid banshee just needs a hone and a left piston/rings. I wish I had money like you..

Anyhow, I believe I am getting some vitos power pistons soon here, and then I should be back on track. As of right now, my quad fenders are covered in white and black tiger furr, hahah. It looks pretty damn stupid.

If I seem to be making zero sense, blame it on my medicine. I got some tonsilitis bull crap.

badcompany - Nice times... But Im sure you know , clay is INSANE good traction. I was at a
race once ( dirt), and they repaired the launch area with wet clay and a bulldozer before the open
class. The first run of the 686, almost ripped arms off, and wheels were still in the air at 100ft. It
was also 4 tenths faster than all previous runs.

I can only WISH to race with that kind of surface on the track... that would be great. And I 100 %
agree, that on a track like that, Banshees setup right would dominate my 686. Theres no doubt
that a Banshee is the king for that. But like me and Yamaha660R keep saying.... on loose dirt
or dirt hardpack ( the kind that looks like a desert dust storm after a run), the Banshees cannot
hookup quick enough to win around here usually. Gotta understand... Im in the redneck PA
hills - the best races we get, are ran by local VFD's and clubs - we dont get to have sweet groomed
tracks /sniff. But my 686 does run 5.0 flat on these dusty dirt tracks. Id love to get a run on a good
one, just to see what she'll do.

hahahaha, this **** is funny. First of all, nobody is talking about dirt drags, the post clearly states that this is sand drags and i dont know who started talking about dirt drags. Second of all, who says you have to spend all that money on drag frames? Just stick a wheelie bar on a stock frame, works just as good. I have a stock frame stock bore banshee on GAS that runs 4.30's, so theres no excuse for that 535 cheetah to run that slow.

pipe, i ran low 4.70s at monticello, which was very loose dirt. I also ran low 4.6s in lakeland, ga, which had the worst track conditions i have ever ridden at. also, 4.8s on our practice track which is dirt and had no water. I spin on the clay because it is extremely hard packed. i spin the pro wedges like i would on asphault. i am only turning 1.9 60 ft. times, which means i am spinning alot out of the hole. there is no excuse for a big motor like that to not be able to break 5.0, unless u were running some holeshots in some mud or something.
