I know that GBC Dirt Devils fit the bill well. I went with the 26” size because of the deeper tread lug over the 25” model, plus you get a little bit of additional ground clearance over the stock setup. They are 6 ply and they are tough (not a lot of flexing which enhances high speed handling characteristics). The V-shape tread pattern allows the tire to spin easier than a more aggressive mud tire (such as the ITP 589) and they self clean well. As a side benefit powersliding is easier and I have no problem breaking the Grizzly into a slide with them. This information is based upon my observations after using the stock tires, 27” 589’s, 25” ATR Holeshot radials and finally the 26” Dirt Devils on the same quad (a 2002 Grizzly). I also had my tires (all but the stockers) mounted on ITP C-Series wheels which provide the Grizzly with a wider stance (about 3” wider than stock). This also improves the high speed handling characteristics at the expense of getting muddier because the tires now stick out past the fenders by about 1 ½ inches (a solution for this problem would be to add overfenders which I have not done yet).
The Brute should be even easier to powerslide because it has less suspension travel and more power to the wheels than the Grizzly has so I’d say the Dirt Devils would work great for you…

I bought my Grizz about two weeks ago and I think the jetting is off a bit. I can not pull a wheelie to save my life. I am above 8000'. What jetting do I need? How do I do it? Where do I find the jets? I am from Wynnewood, OK. I live in Cheyenne now. I grew up in southern OK. Thanks, TW
