You need about a 165 main (factory 145) and lift the needle 1 notch if it's still lean.... READ YOUR PLUG!!! I would bet that it's *white*

I'm not sure what kind of carb you are describing but you need way more jet than factory..

One more thing, that JE 10.75:1 piston was closer to 11.5~11.75 in my girlfriends warrior so premium fuel if not 100 octane is in your future..

Tune the carb as close as you can and your problems may go away...

how do you know it is stock jet if it has a aftermarket carb.I would definatly pull plug and see how it reads before you go down on your mains. All that aftermarket stuff you got with the motor mods it would be hard to believe it runs rich.

Was this carb on the bike before the mods? Did it run ok? If you have fuel coming out of the overflow you have a float/needle/seat problem and the level in the bowl is getting too high. Have you had the bowl off the carb? Have you checked the main jet size and what type it takes (mikuni/ kehin)? What happened to the factory mikuni carb?

I just went to White Bros site and they sell the Edelbrock carb, is that what you have? The edelbrock carbs do not have jets, they have a metering rod that adjusts the fuel mixture like a Lectron. This is great if that's what you have, they are very cool carbs! Go to Edelbrock.com and read up on how to make adjustments on it. Edelbrock also has some of the best tech support out there so your good
