There may be a tolerence issue some where else in the engine . If some other oil passage has opened up to far you would loose your pressure and volume at that point and may starve the valve train . Sounds like if they are going to deny you you need to get a machinest to spec out your engine on tear down and then go after them .

yamalube is no better than anything else, it is all just personal preferance. If you run 10 different oils through a mass spectometer you will see very little difference in them, main difference is additives and detergents, but the rest is just oil and it all breaks down no matter what. the best bet is to just change it very often as you have. I would say your problem is a supply issue as stated above.
