Default So whats the deal is the true yfz-450 coming out next year?

I am interested. WHat would tbe the point of buying one now if they are going to release a bigger and better yfz-450

Only change that may come will be to pump the engine up to a full 450cc.I'm not sure that will happen until '06.I wouldn't look for a tremendous gain in performance.Honda already is a true 450 and they aren't any better than the engine Yammy has now..........

I have a feeling that's never gonna happen, they already stomp the honda even with a lower displacement, why spend the money to up it? If you really want a true 450 wait till your next top end rebuild and request they bore it to a true 450, it's not that hard or much more money and you'll get a slight bit of power from it.

You can think of it like a buffer zone for keeping you at a legal displacement for races after a few rebuilds [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
