Grizz Humor
#1
I read through the forums nightly. I will say that i find it funny that so many people compare their quads to the Grizz. More torq, better differential or the rubberband tranny sucks. Whatever it may be. But if the grizz sucks so bad then why do they all compare to it ?????????.
I also find the posts about "how do i get more power out of my (whatever brand quad) Pipe, jet, kit, air filter"
And then they pop up somwhere else talking trash on the Grizz and how their quad is more powerfull. Yet you almost never see anyone that owns a Grizz complane about power. Then their is the clasic "Grizzlys overheat all the time" and and then 20 people that actualy own one post that theirs never has. But there is always that guy that has a friend and his friend had a friend that had a Grizz and it always overheats even when he rides it in the snow. I just find it funny that they bash the Grizz and yet it is the standard they always come back to. Dont get me wrong im not saying the Grizz is the best quad around. So am i the only one that sees the humor in this ???????????????

I own a 99 grizzly and it has tons of power. My cousin has a 98 sportsman and in a drag race the grizz whoops it. Also if you have ever rode a polaris sportsman, you'll notice that the steering is incredibly heavy. You really have to pull on the handle bars to turn that tank. The grizzly steers almost effortlessly and is a heck of alot more reliable. Dont take my word for it look at this website where everyone rates the quads they own. About ten people are very unhappy with their polaris while nothing was said but good things about their machines from people who own grizzlys. the website address is www.quadreviews.com/ Their you will find out what real people with have to say about their polaris.

Yes Yama,
I would guess the reason for mentioning the "Mighty Griz" is only because it has the largest engine, not because anyone feels it is the strongest.
Most aware people know it is a fast runner but also that it is not for slow powerful use like a properly geared "Utility" ATV.
If you like it you win.

Good old SprintPusher
You always pop your head up with a unexperienced opinion of the Grizz. You call the Grizz junk and say that it has no power but yet you dont even own one. You even went as far as to say in anouther post that the Grizz was all wrong for plowing snow. And yet 10 outher people post how they plow with theirs and it works great. You even state that the Grizz has no slow going power at all and yet i can putt around trails all day at 3mph or 65mph. Near as i can tell you know NOTHING about the Grizz you probubly have never even ridden one. You seem to base your whole opinion on the fact that your Traxter pushed a Grizz in a nose to nose push off. Anyone that thinks the Grizz would win that contest is an idiot. The Traxter has a 150lb weight advantage.
That is not an advantage i would care to have but it seems to work well for what you do with your quad. I have no use for pushing cars i never have and im shure i never will. I would go as far as to say that you are probubly the only person in this forum that does. In all the times we have spoken in this forum i have never once called the Traxter junk (in fact it seems to be a fine pure utility quad). I have said that it is not at all for my style of rideing. I would sudgest that you keep you opinion about the Grizz to yourself seeings how you know little to nothing about it.

01 Grizzley,
The original power 4x4 was the Explorer & Sportsman 400
The grizzley is an OK quad but bigger isn't always better. I mean just read the webpages article on that ATV pull. The Sportsman isn't in a class of it's own, it's just better than the rest of the quads in the big cc 4WDs. The Rubicon is in a class all it's own, it's the most expensive !
