Kidney stones...

I Think i can relate in the pain factor. I used to have this thing called "pectus excavatum" (sp) it is where my ribs are collapsed inward. I had a huge indentation in my chest my whole life. Then, last summer, i had an operation to fix it. They had to put a curved steel bar in my chest, flip it over to push my ribs out all at once, then position it right so it won't move. I had 2'' scars on both sides of my just below my armpit. I was in so much pain I can't even name all the drugs i took. While i was in the hospital i had morphine going into my arm and into my back. I had 2 pain buttons. They MADE me get up and try to walk the next day. (I could hardly move at all let alone walk). When they sat me up, it was like i was on fire. It was the absolute worst pain have ever had. When they sent me home i had to take oxi-contin (sp), and 2 motrin 800's. Even with all the pain killers it hurt like no other. Oh, and when i was in the hospital, the morphine ran out and my nurse was pregnant. They were mopping the floors as i was out and when my parents called for the nurse to refill it, she couldn't come because she couldn't take the risk of slipping. So i was out of pain killers after i just had some painful surgery. So, how is everyone else?
