just sit on the seat on a scrammy and hit gas. if u get traction itll go right over backwards if u aint payin attention.
i did a quick drag against 450r. mustve been a hilarious sight, cuz we were on pavement, and we were both strugglin to keep front ends down, so we had 2 quads on borderline of backwards, tryin to beat the other w/o kill ourselves. needless to say, i had him for 150ft, then he made it look like i was tied to a tree. didnt surprise me........

How fast to scrammys go. Wolverines go 60 stock on a 350 engine. You put some mods on it itl probably be next to a 500cc scrambler.

For me, it's the Scrambler hands down. If the Wolverine had a real motor and true 4wd then, in my opinion, this would be a valid comparison.
If you want a quad for wheelies, not implying that these two quads can't, then get a true sport quad.
Next time we want to reply to a post, let's try to state more valid facts. I can't stand to read about how someone rationalizes their opinion on a quad that they have never ridden based on a brand name! Lose the "Polaris=crap" reasoning already. Apply some logic to your thoughts!
Personally, I like the feel of my Scrambler. It has a bigger, more confidence inspiring stance. At first I questioned the chain drive (chain rear, shaft front), which seems to be an issue to some, but it really is no bother. Clean the chain after your rides and spray with a little Tri Flow. As far as the automatic goes, as with any quad, with some time on the trail it begins to gel with you. You have just as much control as if you personally selected the gear you wanted. It's always in the right gear. The floorboards aren't the most sporty concept, but when the going gets rough you have a more stable stance. If you need something to hold your gear, front and rear racks can be added as an accessory if needed. If you just want to have some ***** to the walls fun, put it in 2wd, or if you're like me, put it in 4wd and HIT IT HARD!
If you are searching for a more economical purchase, then the Wolverine would be just that, in my opinion. Purchase the Wolverine if you do not need 500cc and feel more comfortable with 350cc. If you want a more simple quad then the Wolverine is right for you. To me it's like comparing a Kodiak 450 to a Grizzly 660, or if you prefer, a 300ex to a 400ex.
My $ 0.02

scramblers may be bigger in cc's and alot more fatsre an alot more powerfull. but polaris is not reliable. i used to own a polaris and it just went to junk. my old man had one and it went to junk. if u wunt power and speed gaet the scrambler. but if u wunt a quad that is a hell of alot of fun to ride which i think i can say for most owners of a wolverine go with the jappaneese for a while and see wut ya think.
