What Kind of Grease?
I have been running Lucas that you can get at any parts house. 3-4 bucks a tube. I usualy grease AFTER every trip to get the muck out that might get in., then it's ready for the next ride.
Secondlook if you are hitting all six up front and all 3 out back, then I'd imagine you need to replace the bushings/bearings. Mine squeek if I skip a greasing. I plan to tear it down over the winter and replace all of them though.

Lowend - I think you'll find this really helpful. All greases are not the same.

Lowend - check this text out I just got while browsing valvoline's site. I was just curious after reading the 'grease 101' today what exactly it was. Looks like the Synpower grease is lithium based, with synthetic additives etc. Probably a good fit.
"SynPower Synthetic Grease is an excellent heavy-duty and multi-purpose automotive and industrial extreme-pressure grease. SynPower is formulated with a lithium complex thickened in a synthetic base oil, moly and other premium additives to provide superior protection from high loads and extreme temperatures.
Provides superior high- and low-temperature protection (-60°F to 425°F) over conventional greases
Exceptional resistance to heavy loads
Moly-fortified for increased film strength
Extreme pressure fortified
Inhibits rust and oxidation
NLGI #2 GC-LB lithium complex EP grease"

Hey second, if the squeak is coming from the swingarm it's probably the swingarm pivot bearings, you'll need to disassemble the swingarm and put red bearing grease on the bearings and around some other components in there. It usually needs to be done every 2 to 3 years for rec riding. While your at it you should put some on the front wheel bearings and steering stem bearing as well. The dealerships/factories tend to leave them slightly dry. Unfortunately I have to rebuild/maintenance mine as well.
