Default Warrior: Adjusting clutch cable/reverse linkage

Does anyone have any expertise on adjusting my clucth cable? I just installed new clutch plates. It now engages fine, but under load (going up a steep hill) I think it is slipping still. I just screwed the clutch cable all the way in at the lever assuming this would be the best place to start. Do I have to go back in and adjust pressure plates or what? How do I know if that the clutch discs were installed correctly?

Second the reverse will no longer engage. I wanted to get some advice on how to go about adjusting the linkage before I mess something up worse than it is.

Thanks

haywood that adjustment is for the freeplay in the lever, the actual adjustment is on the cable over the case, follow the line down and you'll see it.
