Good, Cheap, Easy Mods for 02 Warrior
#11
I dont know about your mechanical ability..but doing a jet change on a warrior is simple.
Over paying for a K&N precharger spray is silly...I use PJ1 air filter spray..no problems with it.
If your not mechanicaly inclined to turn a wrench on your ride, have someone else do it..like your local dealership..but expect to pay for it.
Save your nickels for a quality aftermarket exhaust..that will give your most gains.
Then come back with as many questions as you need..also try using the search feature when trying to decide which exhaust is best for you.
There is a ton of info on any year Warrior.

If you wanted, you could get an aluminum air box and a pre filter screen lid. Although it's obviously cheaper, and about as effective to do it the "custom" way. I vote custom air box set up also. How much is "cheap"? For about $300 you can get the exhaust slip on, jet kit and filter/prefilter. A prefilter is a bag-type cover that slips over the filter to help keep more stuff out. You can customize another prefilter as an air box lid too. Definitely search, and you'll find answers to these Q's. And jets are in the carb, and allow fuel into the engine. I.E. the bigger the jets, the more fuel you'll be dumping into the engine, and is why it is important to choose the correct sizes. I'd get tires before anything else.
