whys the 450 better than the 660??

This may sound like a dumb question, but i guess i really dont understand exactly why the yfz450 is soo much better than the 660?
could someone explain some of the things that differ without making me feel like a moron.
i know some of the basics, but i dont know all of why the 450 is soo much better than the raptor.

WOW 6 replys and no answars. Well, the 660R was designed to be a good trail bike. making good low-end tourqe, and being narrow to fit into small trails. the 660R was designed to be a sport bike, and the design wasnt all so "aggressive" . it has a Quite exhaust, Smutherd Intake, Low compression, and a very very mild cam. Once you change all those to aftermarket "race ready" parts, the 660R becomes more aggresive. The YFZ was designed to be a "Out-Of-The-Box" MX quad. It comes stock with a decent exhaust, good intake, High-compression, and a Top-end Cam. The YFZ is low, wide and long, just what it needs to be to handle great on the track. The YFZ also has a great suspension, to handle big jumps, but it is very stiff, where as the raptor's suspension is very soft, to soak up all the bumps on the trails. Their two completely different machines, ment for completely differnt purposes.

I agree with everything except for the part about the "decent exhaust" it chokes the 450 but good comments on everything else 86LT250RFatty
