Pro's and Con's of nerf bars
#41
The Tusk nerf bars are fairly light and only $99. They bolt up to the front of the pegs, so the heel guards stay in place. I have them on my Banshee and I am pleased with the quality and performane of them.

I have the AC Pro Peg Nerfs with the built in heel plate, they have saved me from many broken ankles, the only bad thing is yes they do cake up with mud pretty easily but id rather spend 30 minutes washing off the mud rather than be out with a broken ankle for a few months.

If riding in a place with huge holes and washouts, it can't be that great on a sport quad. Sounds like 4x4 territory IMO. Not trying to light a fire here, just saying whats in my head. I know my raptor doesn't really enjoy crawling for extended periods of time...
I'd say nerfs, in any other case, aren't a bad way to go.

OK thx all for posts, i decided on the pro peg nerfs but unfortunately do not make for a warrior so ordered AC nerf's they in and installed pics updated. Then i found some IMS roll design heel guards but have to use with IMS pegs which will work with AC nerfs so i ordered them. SO will end up basically with a pro peg set up, just cost about $400 to do on a warrior ( Will post pics of heel guards when come in
