more than likely a jettng issue... if its lean... you will find it popping alot... mine sputters now because its getting warmer and i havent gone back to my summer jetting yet.

rofl... i KNOW im right... use ur head kid... hows does headlights effect ur carb? moron....
its jetted wrong... if it pops, try upping the main jet a size or 2.
my headlights were taken off my quad before the first ride... and the fan too. no sputtering... except when i needed to rejet.

Doing the Hokie-Pokie just before riding will keep you Yamaha from sputtering...you remember?...you put you left foot in...
if it starts to cause you any problems on the trail after the Hokie-Pokie ritual
