Default Raptor 700 EFI, Why Not Grizzly?

I am absolutely not meaning to bash on Yamahammer, but I'm really questioning why the heck they didn't adopt the new 700 EFI from the Raptor straight over to the Grizz? I can't believe they left their big-bore 4x4 alone!

I agree. I'm rather disappointed in Yamaha. They need to step up to the big, big bore 4x4 plate.

Guess we can always hope for a midyear new model 800

No, you want to talk about a company that needs to step up in the big-bore segment (sport OR utility), let's talk Honda. I'm ashamed to admit it, but with the KingQuad, Brute Force, 800 Sportsman and now the new Bombardier, they are REALLY falling behind! Best on earth?

the Rincon is a 650, right? Grizz is a 660

that's only 10cc diff

the big, big bore (don't know if you noticed that part ) is 700/750/800

Yamaha needs to take it to that level. Even if it was just the 700EFI engine from the new Rappy. Why not go that route Yamaha?

Even though it's probably not realistic at all, I have a dream that all of a sudden, Honda will release new or drastically update it's models all at once and basically regain the #1 spot overnight. No more boring, but reliable engines. And then maybe continue to innovate and come out with some totally new ideas. Just dreaming though..............

Have you noticed that Honda has not listed the 2006 Rincon? Obviously, the Rincon will be getting some updates, but what will they be?

I agree with the previous poster, a 650 cannot be considered a big bore any longer...
