im so depressed
let me help out a bit here with electicity
electricity, look at it like water
psi=amperes
volts=volume of water
ohms=resistance/or some kind of pressure regulator i guess you could say
if you have a hose, with a Y in it, to two hoses, one hose up, and one hose down, the water is gonna flow down, to the path of least resistance. same as electricity, i.e. i had a shorted wire in my banshee wiring harness, i thought it was the cdi box, or the coil, or the stator, so before i chased my tail, i checked continuity(resistance), and there it was, right after the connector from the stator to the harness. Not saying that it'll magically point to it, i did have to chase the wires in my wiring harness first. What i'm saying is, when you have electricty, its gonna want to go to the way of less resistance, and if you have a short in the wire, its gonna be to the new ground(at the short), not through the cdi box, coil, wires, and spark plug(s) I would really like to be able to draw something for you, but i don't know how to do it and post it, i think that would really help you out. So...check continuity with a digital volt meter(you can get a cheap on from a auto parts store for like, $30) and its just good to have around, or check with a neighbor, they may have one, if you live on a farm, you definalty should have one somewhere. Also, keep you head up, I know what its live on a farm, it has its pros and cons, and when things really seem bad, i had a drill sergeant tell me way back in the day of basic, "well, atleast your not getting shot at"
I hope this was of some help, PM me if you have anymore questions.
