this really sucks. i was on the way to a friends house to go riding and i came out of one trail onto the road, i must of been in third or fourth gear and the counter balencer shot right through the engine casing. The connecting rod also broke off of the counter ballencer and the crank and shot right through the casing by the starter. now i have a hole the size of a baseball in my motor and i am missing most of the metal from the hole. its probably gonna be cheaper to buy a new motor that fix this one. oh yea and it wasn't the oil cuz i just changed it the week before
any suggestions on why this happened and where i can buy a replacement motor

that really sucks check out ebay for a motor

 

i seen a 2002 350 warrior motor and tranny a couple weeks ago on eBay,,,it went for 480 bucks at the end of the auction

they said it was in perfect shape,,,,,it was sold,but it will give you an idea of what they go for on eBay

 

yea i have been checkin ebay but all the motors that i would put in my quad are goin for 7 or 8 hundred bucks. i never saw the 02 motor for 450 bucks

 

u got to keep looking new stuff gets put on there all the time i actualy bought my quad off ebay

 

its a 2003? umm ya id give your dealer a call.....

 

thats exactly what i was thinking , sounds like a defect of somesort considering its only 2 years old

 

if u want a project why dont u find lik another atv or dirtbike engine and transplant it into your warrior
