As far as I know, its stock timing.I've got the carb apart now and I'm cleaning it good and going from 3rd to 4th needle clip position, and a 310 to 340 main.It seems to get hot real fast when ridden hard,so I'll experiment a bit.And I'll stay posted.

dont run to rich because running to rich is just as bad as running to lean

You need to contact the previous owner and check on timing and compression. Timing a shaved head could easily go unnoticed. After that, what kind of pipes are you running? No way you should be running 340's unless you are running drag pipes. At a minimum you need larger pilots and an aftermarket set of pilots over stock. The aftermarket needles have more taper for more fuel on the idle circuit-mid range transition....and of course the pilots allow for more fuel as well. Call any place that sells your pipes and they should have a needle/pilot kit for the Banshee. Everyone sells them with Banshee pipes for a reason.

running too rich is NOT the same thing as running too lean.

Its a simple do...take your plug out...if its black its rich, if the porcelin has a mocha color to it you are close. If its white you are lean.
