Yfz450 vs 700 Raptor..ATV Action settles it!
Just got the atv action January magazine. Shootout between Yfz450 and 700 Raptor. The results are closer then you think.. great article with good info on both bikes.
450 still king in drags..
700 still more comfortable..
Overall winner in trails... Raptor 700
Pick up a copy and check it out...wish I could buy both...lottery

From personal experience, over and over and over again, in the DIRT, the yfz kills the 700 by several lengths in a 300 ft drag. Stock, the 700 is slightly faster in topend mph. Takes a while for it to get caught up to a yfz though, so its probably only like a 1-2 mph advantage.
modded vs modded, not sure, but I would still lean on the yfz in the dirt. It all depends on the state of mods though, as you can get some series horse out of a 700. Having said that, my yfz, with the mods stated will whip a 700 with exhaust, intake and ecu. I still will have more horse AND be 50 lbs lighter!
