<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>They are making them look like other manufacturers units but I doubt they are as good. </end quote></div>
It could be the metal they use in China. A crescent wrench from china looks like a Snap On wrench from the States but you know which one will break first.

thanks for all help everyone
looks like I'll be taking a closer look at the Grizzly 450. It's not much over my origina buget and has everything I want. Was looking pretry hard at the Kawasaki BF 650, but it's not a IRS rear suspension. I guess I need to ride them both and see which one feels the best to me. The engine size difference really doesn't matter to me as either one will be a lot bigger than the 250EX we have now.
I used to own a Honda 450ES foreman, but that thing was too rough of a ride. Nice machine otherwise.
As I'm getting a little older now (42) I'm more interested in comfort.
have a good one.

LOL, That was my last ATV and I chanded for the same reason. My freind just bought the newer 500 Foreman and though its a straight axle it still has a much smoother ride than my 450 Foreman had.
The 450 grizzly has two more advantages, shifting gears on a Utility ATV is just a monotonous chore after awhile, and IRS beside having a smoother ride, allows you to straddle those larger rocks on the middle of the trail rather than zig zag around them constanly.

let us know when you've ridden them and give us some feedback. The BF will have a lot of power... But I think you'll like the feel of the 450 more... (plus I can't get over that dif-lock lever on the BF's... just don't like it...)</end quote></div>
I don't really car for the diff-loc lever on the BF either. I like the yamaha push button a lot better.

I have a 2008 GRIZZLY 400 just bought IRS LIQUID COOLED 4wd but no low range and diff lock but everyone was stuck on the telling me about the 450 grizz as well but it does more to offer mainly the low range but Ive came to find I dont need it as bad as i thought the 400 has nice power I weigh 250-270 havent weighed in awhille lol but anyway's it will pull me up steep hill's no problem I do not think it would pull over no 27-28 inch tire to aggressive but stock tire's match it's power perfect.I was looking at the 350 grizzly as well and were I live the 400 was 200 bucks more than the 350 350 offering Diff Lock over the 400 but I have a bruin 350 and I know with it's power just having 4wd alone would drag the 350 motor so diff lock wasnt needed so I went with the 400 = BIGGER MOTOR 401 cc LIQUID COOLED 350= 348cc with diff lock.. so it's a give and take situation I just think the 400 is WAY more bang 4 ya buck..But if you can afford it I would deff go with the 450 GRIZZLY as other's have said but DO NOT GO SMALLER THAN A 400 THOUGH I really like mine and it does me just fine but I know if I woulda went with the 350 I would not have been happy. And as for the 400 BIG BEAR my unk has one Im not scared to say it would pull any 400- and most 500's around all day if tied end to end but it is not full auto But has TON'S OF BOTTOM-END POWER plus Diff lock and come's with ITP mud Lite's stock... hard situation isnt it I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago when I got my 400 all I can say is good luck...LET US KNOW WHAT YOU TURN UP WITH!!!!
