Default Clutch kit for wolverine?

I have a 2007 yamaha wolverine. I want to clutch it! I was wondering:

How hard it is to do?
What kind of gains i can expect?
Any suggestions on a brand of kit to buy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for the help!

Aaron

My advice would be the send your primary sheave to Hauck Racing (google that) and have them machine it. It gives bottom and top end gains. A clutch kit will add bottom end at a loss of top end speed.

SS454 is correct the hauck racing clutch machine work will give top and bottom end gains. If you dont ride at top speed much you can go with the EPI clutch kit, which does give a lot more low end torque but knocks about 3-4mph off of the top speed.

With the EPI clutch kit(or to see how to take apart the clutch to clean up your primary sheave and send it to hauck) search for the topic

EPI clutch kit wolverine 450.

I wrote a whole write up of the install of an epi clutch kit on the wolvy on here and there were several good posts on the topic from other members.
