Hi Octane Gas
I know its suggested to use Hi Octane (around 92) in the high performance engines, but, man its just too much w/ $4 a gallon around the corner. Will using regular (say 87 octane) have any negative affect on an engine? I have been using regular for my Raptor 700 but still try to get 92 octane for my Banshee. Anybody have a thought on this?

Hi Octane Gas
be very carefull. if you hear any noise get more oct right away. i run 91 no madder what but i live at sea level also so that makes a difference.
i look at it this way. what is the real difference in cost? insted of pay 4.00 a gallon you pay 3.70-3.80 saving yourself 20-30 cents a gallon. that only like 5% savings. imo just not worth it.

im pretty sure yami will say the raptor 700 need 91. as as said before it almost cost nothing to run 91 over 87.</end quote></div>
The manual for the Raptor 700 says regular unleaded gas which is 87 octane around here.
