Default Yamaha grizzly 700 front diff problem? help!

ok that's good i was just concerned.
Thanks for the help it feels good to know theirs someone else that is their to help.

The stethoscope will help to isolate where the sound is coming from, by blocking out all sound except what the probe picks up.

I believe you are fine, the Yamaha On Command Differential is connected to the right front axle at all times, but allows the right axle to freewheel. When 4x4 is engaged, the right front axle is locked to the diff, the left freewheels. This allows easier steering. When 4x4 Lock is engaged, both axles are locked at the diff.
