Default Belt dressing O.K.?

Is it O.K. to use belt dressing on the drive belt (CVT)?

Okay heres a dumb ?, is your belt slipping? If so I don't think belt dressing is going to help it but probrably make it worse. I know you probrably don't want to hear this but, you should probrably open up the clutch and check everything to find the cause of the slippage and then repair it. That is if your belt is slipping.

If you've ever used belt dressing on mechanical equipment (air handlers, MAU's, etc), you'll see after a while it all gets worn off, and ends up in the belt guard. You don't want that crap inside your CVT housing, not to mention your clutches aren't designed for it, and might not operate right with the stuff in place. BTW professionally, we as a company, and I as an individual won't use it, as it seems to be useful for a day or so and then it's worn off. Belt and sheave condition and proper alignment are more important than a spray on treatment for long trouble free operation.
