If it were mine I would go back with a stock length rod with a JE 366cc piston kit 10.5:1 compression. I've had several warrior engines from mild to wild, and this setup was the best bang for the buck and the most reliable. Keep in mind that comparitively speaking, a Warrior will never be "very fast".

If you're already thinking about it then I would. Warriors were the sport trail quad to have in the early 90's, but things have changed alot since then. Why would you spend all that money hopping up a Warrior when you can get a 400EX for cheap, that is already faster and has better suspension right outa the box? The same goes for the Raptor 700's which cost a little more around $3500 for a used one.

I have to agree with raptor450. For instance, a 400ex put out a good 7-8 HP more out of the box. That's a big difference for machines in the 20-30 hp range. You'd be very lucky to get an extra 7-8 hp from the warrior without dropping more than the bike is worth. The suspension is also night and day difference, although a 400ex doesn't exactly have the best stock setup either it's still a lot better than a warrior.

" very fast"....Maybe consider a 450. Many to be found at a fair price.
