Default Banshee Electrical Issue???

Hi All,

I've searched and haven't been able to find this asked or answered so here goes. I have a 2000 Banshee and for some reason when riding (mostly at full throttle) I can feel an electric shock through my gloves that seems to be coming from my handle bars (left grip). I know there isn't much electrical on this so I'm not sure what it could be and wondered if anyone has ever experienced this? Not sure if it matters but only mods are: oil delete, air box removal, T5 Exhaust with Toomey 2 - 1 filter with outer. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks all.

Pull the plastics off and look at all wiring. sounds like you have a bare spot somewhere.

I would guess the headlight switch. The stator has two power outputs. One for ignition spark and one for lighting. Unhook the lighting one and see if it goes away.
