I have a Yamaha beartracker I need help with. The electric start won't work, if u jump across sylnoid it works but won't work off start button. Tried new sylnoid and new switch and made no difference. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

 

Yamaha use a very complicated system of relays for the "lock out" to prevent the bike starting in gear, or without a brake on. If you have the wiring diagram, take a look at it and trace the various wires back from the solenoid to find the fault.
