Default ttr 125 kick start stuck

i was out riding the trails a few days ago and when i was riding all of a sudden my chain popped off so i turned off and hopped off the bike to put the chain back on and once i got back the bike on i noticed the kick start was stuck. it wouldnt budge at all. i brought it home and i tried to kickstart it again but this time i put some power into my kicks ( i know this was probably a dumb idea) and the kick start budged and i got the full kick through but it didnt crank and it just got stuck again. i do not know what to do, im 16 and this is the first bike ive ever had, i just saved up enough money to get it and its messed up already. any help would be highly appreciated

I don't know that model at all, but something is jammed inside the gearbox or clutch housing. It is going to need freeing off and checking for damage, The only way to do that is to open the clutch case, if the fault isn't in the clutch housing. the gearbox will need checking. Get a manual first, gearboxes are one of the most difficult things to work on as every component and washer needs to go back on in a certain order.
