2003 Yamaha warrior 350 won’t start after adjusting the timing chain
Hello, I’ve been having issues with my warrior I couldn’t get it to go as fast as it should have been going. It was basically going as fast as it could in 3rd gear which is obviously not right. I tried a few things I’ve been suggested but nothing seemed to work. I replaced the clutch and adjusted the timing chain but now it won’t start. I’m sure I put everything back together properly. I’m no mechanic but I watched a few videos and made sure I did everything correctly.

What do you mean by "adjusted the timing chain" I don't know the Warrior but other Yams such as Bruin of the same age had self adjusting tensioners, so tension adjusted itself. If you mean you have re-timed the chain, it should not have needed adjustment either. Double check this timing, T mark on flywheel and timing mark on chain sprocket should line up, within half a tooth. Check valve clearances too.

Just checked part numbers and Warrior and Bruin have the same tension adjuster, so it is automatic, so don't know what you have been doing to "adjust" it. As I wrote above valve timing shouldn't move much either, so must have been set wrong previously, or you have either got your timing marks mixed up, or the flywheel has slipped and when it says TDC by the flywheel, this isn't true TDC by the piston.
