Dont have a warrior but had the same problem, it would only do it accelerating and uphills, I found a very small piece of dirt inside the carb which found its way into the carb throught the vent tube. if you had the seat off or cleaned the filter lately go ahead and pull the carb, clean the jetts with solvent, and especially the float bowl, good luck, p.s clean the vent tubes, hook air compressor line and blow the opposite direction from the carb side out, this should do the trick!!!

Mine is an older model but sounds kinda similar. Mine would run ok for 15-20 minutes and then miss, sorta felt like flooding. I could always milk it back to truck. Turned out all I needed was new spark plug. Yours is fairly new, but you could have a bad one. It was a cheap fix for me. good luck

From what i understand from some customers in Japan, Yamaha had anticipated very large sales for 99,00 models and started heavy production in 98, thus, your 00 was built in 98, when done, the factory simply connects a fuel line from a mass storage tank, wets it and fires it, there fore, this fuel from this mass storage tank, which, understand that foreign countries generally have only 75 to 82 octane fuel, is skunked from the start, then sits in your carb. for however long, which sits on a ship for 2 months, which sits in a warehouse for 6 months, and sooner or later, finds it way, to you, so, in short, there have been alot of complaints about this on the 99, 00 bikes, just clean the carb, should solve it.
