Guys- I just think if mickey runs his typewritter he should elaborate on his claims. But he never does. What does he do that is superior to anyone else? How many people does he have doing r and d? My friend is in Calafornia on business. He went by sparks shop yesterday. Said if you wanted something done- march 2003 it would be ready, if you book it now. Sparks does all the work himself. I think that is cool. But why are those 3 superior to the others? I just want to know, how they are better than Trinity, LRD,Duncan,Nacs, Bikeworks and the list goes on and on..........................................

Hey Lyle,

Isn't it nice that your Raptor is "nothing special" but the Raptors that were built by everyone else are a bunch of junk. Be serious -- it is time for you to put up or shut up.

After bringing your post to Harry's attention and showing him your attacks on all of the other engine builders, I was able to get him to agree to the following proposal. (Harry did not want to get involved in the name poking as he has a good working relationship with all of the engine builders.)

Instead of waiting until next year (and having people accuse you of running fuel and other cheater products for as many months), come on down to Trinity and do some pulls on their State of the Art dyno. I am sure King Raptor already made this offer, but here it is again.

Harry said that he would pay you $200 to come to his shop, select any of the fuel on his showroom floor and make some runs. Harry will give you the run results to post as you please. This test will remove rider input, tires selection, lane choice and the "jump." Since we are talking engines, this is the best way to resolve the darkness surrounding your performance. I for one would love to see a 75+hp 102mmx84mm Raptor -- especially one (as you claim) running stock valves!

Just think about how awsome this opportunity can be for you and Curtis. Just think >> Verified dyno runs on a dyno that you claim over rates hp. If in fact your Raptor is really some "special build," your competitor TRINITY will be verifying it! What more could you ask for?? Free fuel, free advertising and $200.

After the runs, we can also verify your bore and stroke size just to make sure nobody will next claim that you were really running a 105 or stroker.

Oh, one other thing, why don't you bring 3 or 4 of those other Sparks Pismo Raptors that you claim are just as fast. That way you can also say that your one Raptor is not a fluke. Heck, if you can't make it, get a couple of those other Pismo Raptors to come on down for a pull (sorry, the $200 only applies to you.)

Lyle, remember, if you don't want to accept this offer it will look like you are playing with monkey juice on a one off fluke Raptor.

Mickey ---- here is one for you. Since you are on the East Coast, get one of those many many Raptors that you have built to come by Trinity for some pulls --- free of charge. I would like to see one of your stock valved Raptors pull 70+ hp.

According to Sparks there are about dozen 690's running around. I saw one at Pismo yesterday and it seemed to run well. The drags I saw were not with any thing special though. I never saw any runs against banshees only a few 250 three wheels that seemed pretty quick. The 690 left them way behind. The guy on the 690 said he has known Curtis for 25 years so he must be one of he chosen few. BTW he also was runing a +4 swingarm and his wife was also riddng a Raptor and wanted the 690 applied to hers.

LOL, no I did not do an racing, just checked out the place. The raptors would have been fun and I wish I had one with me. I did not bring the video camera with me and I had a loaner digital camera from a friend. The 250 took me anywhere I wanted to go except up hills, I went around them to get where I wanted to go. I felt like one of the patrol guys out there LOL.

Lyle- I really do not see how this offer could hurt you in anyway. Inquiring minds would like to see the numbers. We already know that you have a quailty product, we just want to see the numbers.
