Wolverine Problems Need Help
#3
OK..We are talking Yamaha here.
Two things to check.
First,..It could be that the ignition is retarded. Check the park brake switch on the handlebars an all of the circuitry coming from it.
Secondly,...check to see if the intake boot between the carburetor and engine is still intact. You didn't say what year model Wolverine you had. The older ones use a different intake from the later ones and when they start to deteriorate, it will seperate from something like a jolt,..or a jump as you describe. It leans the mixture severly and will run poorly above idle, if it runs at all.
If you have the later one, it still could be that the intake has seperated, but usually remains somewhat intact since it is the bolt on type rather than clamp on.
I would check these items first, and if you still can't find the problem, post back with a more thorough description including WHEN it actually started running poorly. [Immediately after the jump??]
