Follow the dyno jet set up to the letter, don't get tempted to go bigger on the mains cause that seems to be the main problem with them running poorly.................

I found that 3 tunrs out was a tad rich on the low end too, mine are set at 2 3/4 and 2 1/2 turns, stock the left anf right carbs where set differently... I add a 1/4 turn over stock.

Adding the proflow and removing the airbox lid did not need a rejet, in fact in far stronger everywhere, hence my comments on sticking with the DJ recommendations........ I started with 148 - 150 and it ran like crap............... 144 - 146 = perfect. Leaning out the needels realyy killed the midrange torque, 20 % increase on the dyno at 3000 - 400 rpm in rear wheel torque...... by changing one clip postion........... these things are sensitive.
