I am a praire 650 owner and I would reccomend it highly....However, your question was concerning the grizz and sportsman. In my riding and research I would choose the Grizz. I liked it a lot. Nice machine with good performance.

your 02 trailboss is so far behind my rincon..its begining to make me laugh...ur quad in the shop much buddy?...lol gl with ur quad choice
A buddy of mine has 2 1987' trailbosses that have spent 0 hours in the shop and still run just like new. All thats been replaced is a few belts and every thing was maintained. I love it when people bash polaris's reliability because it just shows how jealous they are that they bought an overpriced car instead of an ATV.

Why are these Hondo and kawi people in a YAMAHA forum???? You are going to like your GRIZ for sure. Only thing I don't care about with the Sportsman is it seems to steer hard while backing up but it wouldn't keep me from buying one. That is if there were no Grizzlies left in the world. Happy Trailing Chev

<< From all the forums i've read it reminds me of when I rode motorcycles I had almost all the major brands one time or the other the Jap English and a couple Harleys but the best bike was always what was in my garage at the time LOL >>

Chuck, I couldn't agree more..I'm still happy with the pair of yamaha stars..(v star & royal star)

<<Think ATV'S are the same to not a penny worth of difference in them but what it can do is 99% the rider. What you all think of it being that way?? >>

pretty much..it is like bikes..all depends on what you like..the quad was easier for me to decide on than the bike..but I laid awake for a year thinking about the bike..the quad is a tool for me.

but since it is in the garage, I like it, but I could have just as easily ended up with a grizzly, or a sportsman and been happy. I just got a better deal on the kaw, the grizzly the dealer wanted to much for (after I bought 2 bikes in 2 years) , the polaris dealer I can't deal with..(I tried)

sounds like you'll be happy..rember..just like bikes, the wind is all the same.

just like bike forums, when folks cant ride due to the weather, they tend to get a little crabby..nothing a good long ride won't fix..
