Default Help on buying YAMAHA ATV

Hello everyone,
I'm planning on buying a Yamaha ATV, but can't make my mind if I should buy a Wolverine or a Bear Tracker. I'm a beginner with ATV's so I'm not looking for a fast model.

Does anybody have any experience that can help me decide on any of this ATV's?

Thanks!

Not a Bear Tracker!!! The WOlverine is a good bike, I love those. The are alot better options out in the same class as a Bear Tracker, ie Recon. But like Gary said....

Randall, the Raptor is a Yamaha product. The Wolverine and Bear Tracker are as well....if Yamaha does'nt mind screwing 01 Raptor owners, they sure will not mind doing the same too the potential owner of any Yamaha product.

Default Help on buying YAMAHA ATV

hello caver, i had a bigbear 350 for 10 years, and i only put $62.00 into it (wheelbearings). i traded it in for a 400se kodiak and l'll tell you there is not a better make out there! i must say its nice to hear someone buying small for their first atv. too many people are buying big bore atvs and don't have the experience to handel them. my best advice to you is go and test ride them, it dosen't cost anything and you'll know which one is for you.

p.s caver, if you can afford it, 4 wheel drive is the best way to go. 2 wheel drives get stuck too easy. by the way, honda also makes a excellent atv! take care and happy trails.

The Wolverine is a nice all around quad... my only complaint is the ALL time 4 wheel drive (for some this is not a problem) If you ride any blacktop at all you will notice that it is tougher to steer. If you have the extra $$ you may want to look at a Kodiak... IMO

Like Babycakes said... test rides are free! So you may just want to try out some different quads... there are a W-I-D-E selection out there to chose from today!
