I've never heard a complaint about the Sparks or GYT-R clutch kits.
They're both the same price ($109) bit the GYT-R kit comes with the steel plates & the Sparks doesn't.
I don't know if that means the Sparks springs & clutch plates are better or just more $$.
These are the 2 kits I'll choose between when it's time to upgrade my clutch.

The Barnett kevlar has been said to "flake-off" and float around in the motor; kinda like getting sand in there.

If I am not mistaken, Hinson is the manufacturer behind the GYT-R clutch.

Thanks for the info, RaptorCam.

For the GYT-R stuff, I think that they are referring to the clutch plates themselves, not the basket and pressure plate. Hinson does make the GYT-R basket and components.

yeah, I just want to know about plates? If you go with sparks do just use stock metals? I've seen others using stuff from bikes like r-1 is this a direct fit or does it require mods. My wreching skills stop where the manual stops.

Well this Kevlar info is new to me, so thanks guys. So what are the options, besides Barnett, when upgrading from the stock clutch plates? I've heard Sparks and GYT-R... anyone have experience with EBC?
