I will not be jumping it or flying around on it. I have a hunting spot that has alot of winding path's and want something to drive around through the woods. Is this 150 strong enough to do the job? When I am not hunting I will go maybe once a week to blast back through the woods and have some fun.
Welcome to the forum's prostreetcamaro, I would think that the yamoto 150 would be ok, but I wonder for how long. I am 6'4" 230 lbs and I can ride my wifes quad but it does feel small. I just wonder how soon you would be bored with it. Definitely go to a shop some where and actually sit on what ever you choose. Don't buy it sight unseen.

When you talk about swapping the rims to get the extra width in the front, what about the hubs for the front drum brakes? Wouldn't they be on the outside then. If I remember correctly from putting the wheels on, the front rims had the brake hubs welded on the inside.

Thanks
Welcome to the forum montecarlo97, On my wifes quad the rim's bolt to the brake drum with 4 bolt's and the brake drum bolt's to the axle with one large nut and cotter pin. The rims are not welded to the drum's.

Welcome to the forum's babygrl, lack of suspension travel and no where near claimed top speed. Actual top speed 32 mph.

You can believe that if you want to, but my wifes quad has the throttle stop screw backed all the way out and 32mph is all there is. Lot's of people here have found the same thing. For a beginner though, it is plenty fast.

Something I would consider is that if you buy from a local dealer and have problems they will be there to help you and it will be assembled for you. If you or some one you know is mechanically inclined you could have it shipped and then you would probubly have to put it together. Either way the biggest reliability issue with these is loose bolt's. Loctite all bolt's and you should have no problem's.
