I droped to about 3.5 - 4 psi in my sons tires right when we got his. We ride trails and I think it works pretty well.

I replaced the lost swingarm bolt with a bolt a got at Ace Hardware (thanks for telling me where to get it guys). I took off one other and it was stripped to hell. Hard to believe seeing as how they had never been taken off before.

Has anyone had and problems with the plastics cracking under the seat? I noticed the seat seemed lose the other day so I took it off to see what was going on. the plastics have completely cracked right under the seat where they bolt on to the frame. This causing the seat to be somewhat lose.

this quad has been babied for the most part so I cant see it being wear and tear, but I suppose anything is possible. Anyone ever get replacement plastics, where?

I run the wifes at 2.5-3 psi for the dirt and it seems to work well for her.

I have not had any plastic cracking but my wifes quad is really babied. None of the tires have ever left the ground while riding it. I have worried that the palstic would be brittle though.

If I'm not mistaken, if you look at the sticker on the fender, it indicates what the recommended PSI is for the tires. I believe it says 2.9. Since a lot of you guys are not happy with the suspension, it may be that your PSI is actually WAY too high. I lowered mine to 2.9 and it was a drastic 300-400% difference in how comfortable things felt on the trail.

You may indeed have stiff suspension, but keep a close eye one your tire pressure and you may experience a whole new world of riding. It is soooo much less jaring on the trail that way...

When I checked the air pressure for the first time in my wifes Yamoto the pressure was 8-9 psi.

The Yamotos do ride much better with the correct air pressure in the tires. The only issue with running with low air pressure is if you get in some rough area you can break the bead easier and end up with a flat. If this happens or prior to it happening you can use bead sealer between the tire nead and rim to make the beads hold up better. I just got a 250 ATV in and the rides is very soft but it is more of a utility machine with larger tires. It compares to a Kawasaki 300 Bayou I rode. Knarf

What pressure do you run now? 8-9 would have been pretty harsh i would think.

Hello, I am intrestead in purchasing one of these Chinese made ATV's. I found one
on ebay, but I'm not sure if it is similar to the Yamato model. Can you tell me

Welcome to the forum Davide,
I went and looked at it and yes it does look like a yamoto. If you have some mechanical skills and dont mind a little wrenching, go for it. If you want something trouble free, buy from japan.

Thank you for the reply "mywifesquad", good to know I'm looking at the same ATV.
I don't mind getting my hands dirty, especially if it comes at a good price
I was wondering if the Bid price is a fair price for this quad?
If I do purchase one, what is the list of things that I should do before I use it? such as tightening bolts with blue loctite (# 242).
Also, I'm from Ottawa, Canada. And it would be nice to see one in person before purchasing it, does any one know anywhere near
Ottawa where I can see one?

Thank you – Davide

Has anyone had a problem getting spark? I have the 150 and I am intermittently getting spark. Thought it was the coil wire so I replaced that. Didn't help. Can't find a short or anything.
