Throttle issues
I just got a couple of Peace atvs, a 110 and a 70 for $100 each. The 70 turns over, but doesn't have any spark, I figure I've got to replace the ignition module to fix that, but the 110 starts and runs very nicely. The only problem is if you give the 110 anything more than 1/4 throttle it dies. I don't know anything more about the two atvs as the guy I bought them from didn't speak much english, but I figure they have been sitting for quite a while. Any suggestions would be most appreciated as I'm anxious to get the kids out riding. Thanks yall.

How many pins on your CDI?
Look for recent post by Jaster94. He has some good info, pics, and YouTube links on how to clean your carburetor. That is the first place to start for quads that have sat a while.

The CDI has 5 pins. I've checked out pretty much everything on this little atv now. I figured out that the brake interlock switch wasn't working correctly so I bipassed that and now the bike will turn over on the start switch command, but still not getting any spark. Does anyone know what the ohmage should be for the stator? I'll create a diagram today showing what readings I get from the different pins and see if anyone can help me.

Ok, so I got the 110cc running after a thorough cleaning of the carb. The only thing now is that it won't idle when warm. When the engine is cold I can adjust the idle up, a bit, but when it warms up the engine dies. I've tried to adjust the needle clip and this did nothing. Any suggestions?
