They make a 2017 too,its shorter.

 

awesome thanx for the tips guys and how hard is it to take out the drive clutch??? and can't you put the clutch together by hand???? i guess if not i can fabricate yet another tool

 

I was at a Kawi site the other day and guys were talking about putting the 700 belt in to the 650's.
They claimed it was a bit wider and made out of better material.
I have no experience using it but just relaying what i read there.
Might want to check into that somemore because if the belt is a bit wider it would leave a lot more room for adjustments.Would be nice to be able to add more shims to start with and then be able to take some out as the belt stretches and wears.
